i am trying to make a program to shutdown a specific game(metin2) if its process is detected so my nephew stops playing the game, i think it's a bad influence on him :)

the problem is that if hi gets the client of the game from a diferite private server it has diferite process names and hy can run it

can i insert a wildcard in the process name ? something like this

If ProcessExists("metin WILDCARD.exe") Then ProcessClose("metin WILDCARD.exe")

and how do i do that ?

Unfortunately this would involve interacting with the game which is contrary to the Forum rules (the link is also at bottom right of each page). So I am afraid I am now going to lock the thread. :naughty:

Good luck in finding another way to prevent your nephew playing this game - introduce him to a new sport perhaps? :)
