send letters normally

Recommended Posts

Reinhardt1julian

I want to check is a button is pressed, and then run a function (Hotkey). But I don't want the normal function of this button to get "deleted" like When i press the m key i want to run a function and type the m normally (even in caps) and this with all keys (Exept F-Keys)

I know this will sound suspicious, but i'm just trying to make a program, that counts how often a button got pressed (german letters ö, ä ,ü and ß are in there, too) . Thats what i got so far:

I can see that.

Not only the goal is questionable but the way it's coded is ugly and deemed to failure.

Yes, I was thinking about whether or not this was even worth responding to and stupidly hit F5.

I have no idea why, but maybe it's because you don't have the keys ö, ü, ä and ß?

R1j,

Possibly, don't know. Your thread borders on questionable content. I'll wait for a MOD to weigh in before responding again.

This code is so bad written. Use the help files.

I think what you're trying to do could be used for keylogger...

In any case i can't even understand your script

Edit: Btw there are German forums. Go ask there because even your "english" is hard to understand

Reinhardt1julian,

I know this will sound suspicious, but i'm just trying to make a program, that counts how often a button got pressed

You are quite corect - it sounds and looks like a keylogger and only its abysmal coding persuades me not to take more serious action. Please do not post anything like this again - thread locked. :naughty:
