Wolfshare
Hello, i think this thing are hard to make.. I am using vmware to make vds (virtual machine).. Running windows xp on vmware, tried to search any key combination of vwmare commands, my script is running on virtual machine, i am thinking how can i do make automaticly revert to snapshot.. Actually doing it manually it is very easy to revert to snapshot.. But not from Virtual machine, maybe anyone have an idea which could help me find a solution for this problem? Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted March 4, 2013 Moderators Share Posted March 4, 2013 Hi, Wiolfshare. Are you wanting to run a script from your Host machine to revert the guest to snapshot? If so, you can use the command line arguments found below. If you're looking to revert to snapshot from inside the Guest, I don't believe this is possible. The guest doesn't know anything about or interact with the Host tools directly. The only way I have seen it done from within the guest is to use SSH back to the Host, and then use the remote command line.http://www.vmware.com/support/ws55/doc/ws_learning_cli_vmrun.html "Profanity is the last vestige of the feeble mind.
