Automate a .net application with AutoIT

Can any one suggest us in using Auto it for automation in the below scenario:

Can we have a selection or data input to a parameter using name of the icon /text box selection:

1. The challenges in my application are icon recongisions: The complete icons are identified as an Group recognition.Class name is same for all and instance not getting incremented.

2. when a form is opened by send command:

The individual text box identification is an issue.It perfoms group level recongnision.

3.The drop down select is alone allowed in application.we are not able to drop down and select the application.

The application developed in .net has no automation id, or any other parameters defined.The control type is defined for is of

"ControlType.Custom"
