Download the latest file from FTP

Hi, Deena. What have you written so far for yourself on this? The basic steps would be:

  • _FTP_Open
  • _FTP_Connect
  • _FTP_FileGet

All of these are available in the help file. As far as getting the latest file, you would have to look at the naming convention. If they are all named with the date prefix as you show above, you could use that to grab the most recent file.

√-1 2^3 ∑ π, and it was delicious!

Do forum searches too...someone just asked this less than a week ago:

This link shows how to find the latest...then you just need to look through the _ftp* functions to do a get.

create an txt file (may be encrypted) contains version of exe.

and compare with ur local exe, if version of exe in ftp greater than local's, get ftp exe ^^
