MrAndyH Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 This morning my autoit3.exe was quarentined by Trend AV, identifying it as containing a trojan TROJ.MUDROP.AN . I tried a reinstall from the download and it imedeately quarentined it again. Tried it on a freshly built test machine, same. Smartscan pattern 10.117.00 Is anyone else seeing this?
Moderators Melba23 Posted June 26, 2013 Moderators Posted June 26, 2013 MrAndyH,Alas this happens a lot - blame the script kiddies who write malware in AutoIt. I suggest you tell Trend about it and ask them to issue a new release which does not flag our executables. But for the moment, the Oozlum bird is staying firmly in its cage.
