How to create toggle script

Recommended Posts

I need help to create a script with a toggle on/off function utilizing one key stroke.

Autohotkey has the following script to toggle a script on/off:

$F2:: <---Key Command
no_hud++ <---command input
if (no_hud = 1) ;disable function
Send {vkC0sc029 down} <----command I want to use
sleep, 1
Send {vkC0sc029 up} <-----command that makes it close after sleep
sleep, 1
send "whatever file/command sending" {enter} <-----command that it will write
sleep, 1
Send {vkC0sc029 down}
sleep, 1
Send {vkC0sc029 up}

How do I accomplish this with AutoIt? I cannot find any help with this problem I am facing.

Thanks in advance!

You still have not read those rules, have you? Which part of:

"Do not repost the same question if the previous thread has been locked - particularly if you merely reword the question to get around one of the prohibitions listed above"

is hard to understand? :huh:

And you even left the "no-hud" command in there! Our patience has limits - do NOT start a third thread on this. :naughty:
