Noviceatthis
Hello all I recently bought a new computer with windows 8 and I've noticed that every Autoit script with a GUI containing text is not the same as on windows 7, specifically the text seems to be larger and doesn't fit on the GUI and I have thus had to resize all the GUI's I have ever made. Obviously, other than being slightly annoying, this isn't a huge issue, I was just wondering whether there was a way to stop this from happening, and whether anyone else has had this issue. Kind Regards
Solution Prestige Posted October 7, 2013 Solution Share Posted October 7, 2013 Try running it in compatibility mode.

Noviceatthis
Nah, that didn't work, I tried setting the Autoit application in Program Files (x86) to run in compatibility for windows 7, and when that didnt work I tried compiling an individual script and running that in compatibility mode, which also didnt work : Having looked at the problem again, it seems as though it could be that the GUI's have actually got smaller, as opposed to the text having got bigger, its hard to tell Edited October 7, 2013 by Noviceatthis
Prestige
Hmmmmmmmmmm, Wait, Give me any script from your autoit, doesn't have to be anything personal, just a simple gui with a button, then I'll try to change it from my Windows 7 PC o3o
