array to clipput?

Recommended Posts

I'm sure this is a stupid question but I've searched the forum. I have surprised myself by successfully "parsing" a table in a word doc to an array. There are 5 to 7 values/strings in the array which I need to send() to fields in different apps. How do I get the value out of the array to clipput or send()? Can't I just say column 2, row 4 > clipput somehow?

P.S. I'm open to cleaner ways of doing this too. We get bunchs of these .doc forms filled out by people who want accounts created and I'm trying to automate the pasting of info into 3 different apps.

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :)

Arrays are accessed by separate dimensions - so "row 4 column 2" would be $aArray[4][2]. But the specific values depend on how exactly you declared your array to begin with (for example have you used the [0] element).

Try that and if it does not work then post the code you use to create the array and we will see how we can do better. ;)
