Moderators Melba23 Posted November 1, 2013 Moderators Share Posted November 1, 2013 mark1983,Welcome to the AutoIt forum. But please pay attention to where you post - the "Developer Chat" section where you started this thread is not for general support questions. I have moved the thread for you, but would ask you to be more careful in future. Moderators Melba23 Posted November 1, 2013 Moderators Share Posted November 1, 2013 mark1983,Really? I am surprised at this as although new members have certain restrictions that is pretty obviously not among them. Would you be kind enough to make another attempt to start a thread in "General help and Support" to test? BrewManNH
Is the path to your addin set correctly? What is the complete output in the SciTE output pane when you run your script? If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. Solution BrewManNH Posted November 4, 2013 Solution Share Posted November 4, 2013 You have the variable inside quotes, you're trying to .Add a string containing $sAddin, and not the value of $sAddin.
