mcclane654
I was wondering if it was possible to save my inputs from a guiinputbox. so when i restart the script it remeber what i wrote. there is too much mess on my script so I will try make it clearer with this exapmle. #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> GUICreate("mygui") GUISetState() GUICtrlCreateLabel("I would like to save my input into this box. if possible displayed when i restart. but it has to rember it", 5, 10) $myvar = GUICtrlCreateInput("",5,30) GUICtrlCreateLabel("this is not my main gui but a seperate one", 5, 50) Sleep(5000) I use the guicrtlread function when they press ok on this seperate gui. and it remember what i told it until I restart the script :/ I want it to somehow save my inputs so it still remember when I restart the script. Moderators Melba23 Posted November 11, 2013 Moderators Share Posted November 11, 2013 mcclane654,I suggest saving the values in an ini file (look at the Ini* functions in the Help file) or in the registry (look for the Reg* functions). I would recommend the former unless you are experienced in registry operations.
