Search for a particular file in Temp Folder and copying is Not working

Recommended Posts

This is a VBScript am trying to use it in AutoIT,

This will search for a file starting with "GLW" in %temp% and copy that to different location.

'********************Rename and move the wise script file ********************
Set folder = objfso.GetFolder(folderName)

''Loop over all files in the folder until the searchFileName is found
For each file In folder.Files
''See if the file starts with the name we search
    'WScript.Echo (file.Name)
    If instr(file.name, searchFileName) = 1 Then

Wise_path1=file.Path
objfso.copyfile FILE.PATH, outFolder & "" , TRUE
           Exit For
    End If
Next

I get error in line Wise_path1=file.Path ..... Error: Missing Charcter seperator after Key Word

is there any other specific autoit command to perform the above task.

Please help.

Hi Mohan,

First, your post is on wrong forum, it should be on "general support", so moderator will move it to the right forum later.

Yes, what you're going to do is doable with AutoIT, only need one line:

FileCopy(@TempDir & "\GLW*.*", "c:\MyTargetFolder\")
