post your script.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

it's an example script in Beta

#include <WinAPILocale.au3>
#include <APILocaleConstants.au3>

Local $ID = _WinAPI_GetUserGeoID()
ConsoleWrite('ID:        0x' & Hex($ID) & @CRLF)
ConsoleWrite('Latitude:  ' & _WinAPI_GetGeoInfo($ID, $GEO_LATITUDE) & @CRLF)
ConsoleWrite('Longitude: ' & _WinAPI_GetGeoInfo($ID, $GEO_LONGITUDE) & @CRLF)
ConsoleWrite('Name:      ' & _WinAPI_GetGeoInfo($ID, $GEO_FRIENDLYNAME) & @CRLF)
ConsoleWrite('ISO code:  ' & _WinAPI_GetGeoInfo($ID, $GEO_ISO3) & @CRLF)

NVM, I just did some research, and the function will choose the center of the geographical area you're in, in my case the US, and it returned somewhere in Kansas. This is about the mid-point of the continental US.

Your location results in a point in the middle of Australia.

From what I've read about this function, it's basically useless for find where you are other than identifying the country you're in. Which helps if you're trying to regionalize a program, but doesn't help for much of anything else.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
