hey guys. i am what i could say an intermediate/advanced skilled programmer mostly in c#(unity, xna), c++(sdl, opengl) and i was wondering about a safer way to manually download [certain streaming sites] video without these website full of spyware and crappy compressed quality.

i then discovered how to do it manually.

then i said to myself, dang my gf would say it is to hard.

so i ask myself maybe i could make a macro.

looked over the web for 20 minute to find autoIt.

did some tutorial and managed to do what i wanted.

enjoy it, you need vlc media player and firefox. work only on english windows. tomorrow i will work again to add more option and maybe an mp3 convertion option.

i think its not bad for a first day, i will read more language documentation tomorrow. i only wanted to make it work, i was short on time

anyway enjoy and if you have any suggestion feel free to tell them im open.

if your computer/internet is/are slow, increase the Sleep(5000) because vlc may take more time to display video cache link

Ced,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :)

But I suggest you read this announcement - then you will understand why your code has been removed and this topic locked. You should also read the Forum rules (there is also a link at bottom right of each page) before you post again so you are clear about what is and is not allowed here. ;)

See you soon with some legitimate code I hope. :)
