legend
My problems is that if button1 can't ping the url, then I want to exit the case, without exiting the whole script. So I use continuecase, to go to the next case. I solved the problem by making a button that does nothing: $cancel = GUICtrlCreateButton("", -100,-100) But if I remove that case (case $cancel) then it will go to Case $Button2, and execute the code for that case. My solution works, but I don't like it, is there a better solution? this is my script: expandcollapse popup#include <ButtonConstants.au3> #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <WindowsConstants.au3> #Region ### START Koda GUI section ### Form= $Form1 = GUICreate("Form1", 152, 52, 192, 124) $Button1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Button1", 8, 8, 57, 33) $Button2 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Button2", 80, 8, 57, 33) $cancel = GUICtrlCreateButton("", -100,-100) GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) #EndRegion ### END Koda GUI section ### While 1 $nMsg = GUIGetMsg() Switch $nMsg Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit Case $Button1 ;ping: ;---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Local $var = Ping("www.y45h45h546456.com", 250) If $var Then; also possible: If @error = 0 Then ... MsgBox("","","ONLINE") Else ContinueCase ;exit out of the case EndIf ShellExecute("notepad.exe") ;don't run this if we can't ping it case $cancel ;---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Case $Button2 MsgBox("","","2") EndSwitch WEnd
