Hello,

Sorry for the topic if this is not the place for it.

Today I've discovered an AutoIt script running on my own computer (before this I did not even know of the existence of this language). It seems to be malicious as when I tried to see it's location (from the task manager) I got a bsod.

I've moved it elsewhere and after deleting about 2 million commented lines I got the script; as I can see it changed some registry values; did it do something else? Sorry for the wall of text.

Thank you for your time.

RadAl,

In view of your evident stupidity I will skip the customary welcome.

You find AutoIt malware and you think it sensible to post the script in open forum? Or were you hoping someone else might run it and get infected too?

Think yourself lucky you are still here - which state might well change anyway after I have looked at the code in more detail. :naughty:

Interesting statement. The code you posted does not appear to be decompiled and so needs an AutoIt interpreter to run - and yet you say you found it running and you know nothing about AutoIt so there is probably not an interpreter already installed on your system. Things are not looking any better for you so far. :( Edited by Melba23
