I know this should be a basic question but really i searched already in google and i didn't find any answers.

How can I compile (to search any error may be in the code)?

Like, if i have "sleep 2000)"... it should tell me... "you have an error in the lane 58, cant find sleep 2000)"

i.e. In devc++ I go to run/compile, and it tells me if i have errors or not... but when i do that with autoit it only creates me a .exe archive.

Thanks.

Don't compile it, just run Au3Check on the script from SciTE. AutoIt is a scripting language, you only need to compile it if you're going to distribute it, otherwise you can run it as-is.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

Sorry but i didn't find how to do it.

I've found the Au3Check.exe and if i run it, it just open the console for a half of second and close it. About SciTE, there is a carpet with the name SciTE and inside it has an SciTE.exe archive but i don't know how to use it.

Might you explain me with more details, please?

Thank you very much.

If you haven't done so already, download the full Scite4AutoIt3 installer package. When you're editing a file that ends in .au3 you can hit CTRL + F5 which will run the Au3Check program on the current file. If it finds any errors, it will display them in the SciTE console window. You can also run the script directly from SciTE using F5, and if there are any errors, it will be easier to track them down.
