Disabling/Greying out Treeview box

Question here:

I'm trying to leave a treeview disabled (preferably just greyed out and unclickable) until a radio button is clicked. I'd also like to do the same thing with a couple of Input boxes (disabled until a radio button or checkbox is checked).

I'm trying to search for code that does this and can't find any. Can someone point me in the right direction?
