5 posts in this topic

Hello!

Is there any way to insert a text with autoit in a determinate time???

For example, i want to introduce the text "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Send("AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA")

but if i did this... they send it in a seconds, and i want to take a full minute or more to write the text

Thanks

Selka,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :)

You could always send the characters one by one in a delay loop. :)

But why on earth do you want to send them so slowly? We normally get complaints about AutoIt being too slow, not too fast .

Selka,

You might also want to look at Opt("SendKeyDelay") to adjust the timing - the default is 5ms so there is plenty of room for delay there . ;)
