Merging cells in Excel without the warning popup.

Took me awhile to find it.  I was just comming to the fourm here to ask when I found it.  A quick search does not turn op this method being talked about so since I'm here, I'll post in the example fourm.

To merge cells.

$oExcel.DisplayAlerts = False
$oExcel.Activesheet.Range('A1:D1').MergeCells = True
$oExcel.DisplayAlerts = True

You can turn off the warning.  Do your merge and then turn the warning on again.  Supposilty this turns off all excell warnings so you definitly want to turn it back on after you do the merge.
