RobertBrownell Posted January 29, 2014 Share Posted January 29, 2014 This has been such a frustration for me, opening the TOOLS menu, and finding no tools, no Macro Recorder, after every type of Full install, multiple times, and searching everywhere, installing beta, different operating systems. This has really been a ship killer, I was ready to scrap the whole project because of this. Why is my TOOLS menu empty, with just Compile, Build Go, syntax check, next message. Without the Macro Recorder it's useless to me. Does nobody have the same problem! Does everyone's TOOL menu populate with all these functions? Yes I've installed the SCITE4AUTOIT3 (10 times) Yes I've uninstalled, and reinstalled Yes, I've tried a beta to get the MacroRecorder Function. Yes, I've actually looked in the Folder for any program that had the word "Macro" Yes, I've opened an .au3 file Yes, I've saved my file as .au3. What about you try and move all emotions aside and show me some actual information. Do yoy have a saved file with an AU3 extension active when checking the tools menu What is the Info in the SciTE/Help/About window? Do a F5 and show all SciTE output pane information. Do you have any ENVIRONMENT variable like SCITE_HOME?
