Move machine to SCCM 2007 Collection

Recommended Posts

I've created an Autoit script to download and install the SCCM 2007 client.

I'd like to move/add the client object that gets created by this process to a specific collection to begin a package install.

How can I script this?

What about using PXE boot to do both automatically?

Not sure how booting into PXE would install the SCCM client and move the machine into a specific collection?

We PXE boot, install an image with SCCM included. The machine gets it's name predetermined from it's MAC, and added to the correct container from it's name. After picking the correct image to install the facetime at the PC is finished. However to answer your original post Waters "AD.au3" UDF is excellent for any Active Directory work.

You could look at my SCCM 2007 UDF below. It has functions for managing collection members.
