dar100111 Posted February 26, 2014 Share Posted February 26, 2014 (edited) Hey All, What is the most efficient way to make sure that the time format I'm getting from my input box is acceptable before updating into my database with the script. Right now I just started with my string length and would need to build several arguments in. The column in my database is in yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss format so I want to ensure it's correct since I wrote some reports with calculations that I don't want to error out. Is there a function or easier way to check the format? If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise.
