BrewManNH
For some reason when you run (I had to use ShellExecute to get it to run on Vista) osk.exe the PID returned is not the PID showing in Task Manager. Not sure where the PID returned is coming from, that does get returned by ShellExecute. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. Champak
That doesn't work for me either. Is this a bug? I had to go with winclose. $OSK_PID = ShellExecute("osk.exe") Sleep(5000) WinClose("On-Screen Keyboard") ;ProcessClose($OSK_PID) ;If @error Then MsgBox(0,0,@error)
Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted March 13, 2014 Moderators Share Posted March 13, 2014 What OS and AutoIt are you using? That works fine for me in WIN7 x64 with 3.3.10.0, using both Run and ShellExecute. BrewManNH
It would not work for me either in Win 7 x64 using 3.3.10.0 or 3.3.11.2. I could get it to close using ProcessClose("osk.exe") though. Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted March 13, 2014 Moderators Share Posted March 13, 2014 That is really odd. This is exactly what I am running, from your OP, and it closes for me just fine, unless I am completely misunderstanding what you're after. $OSK_PID = Run("osk.exe") Sleep(5000) ProcessClose($OSK_PID) "Profanity is the last vestige of the feeble mind.
