I just updated to the newest version of SciTE and now I'm getting all kinds of errors.

This code below would have worked with the previous version but now it doesn't work at all, did I download the wrong one?

Global $dicegui, $rpsgui
$hub = GUICreate("Main",300,100)

$dice = GUICtrlCreateButton("Dice Game",15,40,125,30)
$rps = GUICtrlCreateButton("Rock, Paper, Scissors",160,40,125,30)
$label = GUICtrlCreateLabel("What Game Would You Like To Play?",35,0,1000)
GUICtrlSetFont($label,10,700,2,"Minion Pro")
GUISetState()

while 1
    $msg = GUIGetMsg(1)
    Switch $msg[1]
        Case $hub
            Switch $msg[0]
        Case -3
            Exit
        Case $dice
            Call("dicegame")
        Case $rps
            Call("rps")
        Case $dicegui
            Switch $msg[0]
        Case -3
            Exit
        Case $rpsgui
            Switch $msg[0]
        Case -3
            Exit
            EndSwitch
        EndSwitch
    EndSwitch
EndSwitch
WEnd

Func dicegame()
    $dicegui = GUICreate("Dice Game",300,300)
    GUISetState()
EndFunc

Func rps()
    $rpsgui = GUICreate("Rock, Paper, Scissors",300,300)
    GUISetState()
    EndFunc

Did you download SciTE or AutoIt? Because SciTE is the editor not the program.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.

Back up and restore Windows user files _Array.au3 - Modified array functions that include support for 2D arrays.  -  ColorChooser - An add-on for SciTE that pops up a color dialog so you can select and paste a color code into a script.  -  Customizable Splashscreen GUI w/Progress Bar - Create a custom "splash screen" GUI with a progress bar and custom label.  -  _FileGetProperty - Retrieve the properties of a file  -  SciTE Toolbar - A toolbar demo for use with the SciTE editor  -  GUIRegisterMsg demo - Demo script to show how to use the Windows messages to interact with controls and your GUI.  -   Latin Square password generator

Quick question.

Did the SciTE change for the new update of autoit?

I uninstalled and deleted everything but it keeps using the SciTE that I got rid of. Just wondering because that code above still does not work.

Found my error the code should be.

Local $dicegui, $rpsgui
$hub = GUICreate("Main",300,100)

$dice = GUICtrlCreateButton("Dice Game",15,40,125,30)
$rps = GUICtrlCreateButton("Rock, Paper, Scissors",160,40,125,30)
$label = GUICtrlCreateLabel("What Game Would You Like To Play?",35,0,1000)
GUICtrlSetFont($label,10,700,2,"Minion Pro")
GUISetState()

while 1
    $msg = GUIGetMsg(1)
    Switch $msg[1]
        Case $hub
            Switch $msg[0]
        Case -3
            Exit
        Case $dice
            Call("dicegame")
        Case $rps
            Call("rps")
            EndSwitch
        Case $dicegui
            Switch $msg[0]
        Case -3
            Exit
            EndSwitch
        Case $rpsgui
            Switch $msg[0]
        Case -3
            Exit
    EndSwitch
EndSwitch
WEnd

Func dicegame()
    $dicegui = GUICreate("Dice Game",300,300)
    GUISetState()
EndFunc

Func rps()
    $rpsgui = GUICreate("Rock, Paper, Scissors",300,300)
    GUISetState()
    EndFunc
