Application - Move strings outside to make the app multilanguage

Recommended Posts

I have an app (APK Info) that use an au3 file. I want to move all atrings used by thw app outside the main exe file (compield) to extranl etxt file. In this way anyone can create different language just changing the external etxt file.Example

I have in .au3 file the line

             $sNewNameInput = InputBox("Rename APK file","New apk file name APK:", $sNewFilenameAPK, "", 300, 130)

How can create an external text file and link the app to the external text file?

Use an Ini file format for your language files. For an example of how to do something like that, check out the SciTEJump tool (included with Scite4autoit3) for how guinness did it in that.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.
