Winactivate doesnt work

3 posts in this topic

Hi,

I am using Winactivate command to activate a minimized window. However it doesnt do anything.

I am running an application. When it runs, its by default getting minimized. When I try to maximize it, it works. However I just want to activate the window in order to login. I use Winactivate command. It doesnt work. After Winactivate, I use a Ctrl + W and it works. But the screen still remains minimized. Please suggest an option.

My code is :

If WinExists("Login","") Then
WinActivate("Login","")
ControlSend("Login","","","^w")
EndIf

You could try WinSetState with the @SW_RESTORE parameter and see if that does anything

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
