Au3Stripper including twice the same file

4 posts in this topic

Hi,

When including a file with a relative path starting with "./", this file is twice included in stripped file. Of course, each source file contains the "include-once". Au3Stripper create a file in such way Au3Check reports "error: $DEBUG previously declared as a 'Const'.".

Sources files providen in attached 7z.

    My config : Win7SP1 x64 with AutoIt 3.3.12.0 and SciTE 3.4.1.

Thanks in advance for your support

Best regards,

JL

#include <./support/include_Globals.au3>   ;this line creates "error: $DEBUG previously declared as a 'Const'."
#include   <support/include_Globals.au3>   ;this line works fine

Your script incorrectly uses the same file twice but references them in different ways so Au3Stripper has no way to know they're the same file. Don't over complicate things, if you're going to reference a file in your script, be consistent in the referencing.

Hi,

Jos : fixed on my side. Thanks !

BrewManNH : it was to show that using only 2nd line works fine, and using only 1st line didn't work. Obviously, only one of them was enabled... But effectively it was not clearly said in my first post.

Best Regard,

    JL
