Why won't this autoit script detect input when the key is pressed in another window?

This script won't detect key input from another window. Like for say I am in another window and I press the key - the script won't detect it. Why is that? Can you give me a fix?

Then the "program" you refer to is probably taking over the keyboard input.

Try to compile your script and then run the exe from one of the Function Keys (most keyboards nowadays have extra keys that can do this)

Isn't disabling Windows firewall considered a security override in some cases?
