A Winwait is not finding the correct window

I'd like to know why AutoIt is waiting on this first line of code when the Window Info shows the correct window is open?

WinWait("classname=#32770", "Register")
If Not WinActive("classname=#32770", "Register") Then WinActivate("classname=#32770", "Register")
WinWaitActive("classname=#32770", "Register")

Your title information is written wrong, and even written correctly, might not get the correct window. That Class is used extensively these days, so you might need more information to make sure you're looking at the right window.

WinWaitActive("[CLASS:Notepad]", "")

Note, there's no equal sign, and no pound/hash in there.

I have now tried:

WinWait("[CLASS:32770]", "Register")

WinWait("[CLASS:32770]", "")

WinWait("[CLASS:Button]", "Register")

None of them seem to work.

Do you have any idea what else I could try?

Use a Window handle for performing these functions correctly.

like this code:

WinWaitActive($GUI)
