can i change the color or font for the selected word only?

here is my code but i see that i can't change the font for the selected word only ,, all words changed

here is my code :

Case $ChangeFont ;Here can i only color the selected word not all senteces,and the same for font ?

How are you selecting your words? Are you editing a whole typed document or are you generating the document from within your script? Is this a webpage? There doesn't seem to be enough data to answer your question. Is the $font[1-7] a font size color type? All of the above? Is $edit the selected text you want to change?

yousefsamy,

If you are talking about an Edit control in a script, the answer is that you cannot change the colour of just one word - for that you need a RichEdit control. Look in the Help file to see how to use it. :)

If you are talking about a label, then MrCreator's GUITFLabel UDF might be useful. ;)

Otherwise, explain exactly what you are trying to do. :)
