Tum
I've updated from 3.3.8.1 to the latest version, and found that I cannot obfuscate my code. Is the option selected somewhere else now ?

Tum
I see that post when I search, but disregarded it as it's dated 2007. And I was still using the obfuscator earlier this year, and it was working fine. It's only been since I updated the other day, that I don't get the option to compile using the obfuscator! Edit : Is it the latest version of Scite causing the problem? Can I downgrade again so obfuscator works again ? BrewManNH
Obfuscator has been removed from the latest versions of Scite4AutoIt3. It caused more problems than it was worth, and it didn't really protect your code, so why bother using it? Personally, nothing I build with AutoIt was worth protecting, because ultimately in the end the code was easily obtainable, and even ovfuscating does nothing to secure it. Accept the fact that obfuscation of an AutoIt script is a pointless endeavor and move on with the times. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
