Cant get Send to work in game.

This code gives me no errors.  Currently some things are commented out so i could test it, others are modified to slow down the run time.

It test fine when I open up notepad++, out is as expected.  When game is focused it does not send key presses to window.  I think the Tray Icon blinks between a red [x] and normal icon.  It also does not read my custom escape hotkey, which in this case is 'space bar'

The problem seems to be with D3D?  I'm guessing, since its a game, its probably using direct input.  But I dont know much about that.  I did see the ControlSend function, however it wants data I dont have.

Using the Au3Info_x64 and non 64 bit version, has no information on the Control Info listed in the summery tab.

<snip>

Is there another way to force it to send keys to a game window?  Or maybe I'm doing it wrong.

Thanks for the help in advanced.

skirv,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :)

Unfortunately you appear to have missed the Forum rules on your way in. Please read them now (there is also a link at bottom right of each page) - particularly the bit about not discussing game automation - and then you will understand why you will get no help and this thread will now be locked. :naughty:

See you soon with a legitimate question I hope. :)
