Autoit Scheduler alternatives

8 posts in this topic

I have a script oriented by mouseclick, mouse position, and Send(). It works fine with in my "Menu Bat System".

But now I want to run my autoIt script every morning. I tested "Taskschd.msc" but I lose focus and apparently I need to use Controlsend. How can I do this without having to change my script?

$oIE = _IECreate ()
_IEAction($oIE, "focus")
WinSetState(_IEPropertyGet($oIE, "hwnd"), "", @SW_MAXIMIZE)

Send(.....)
MouseClick(.....)
.....

If you run it every morning, why don't you compile the autoit script and use windows task scheduler to execute it?

How about explaining more about what you're trying to do (what page are you opening, what controls are you clicking on, etc.) and why you feel mouseclicks and sends are the only way to go?

If you dont want to change the script, and you are able to execute it without issue now, I'm not sure why compiling and saving it in windows task scheduler to execute at a specific time would not work....

And to JLogans point, you might want to provide a little more detail so we can provide better ideas...

Mouseclicks and send will not work in a background session and you will have to use controlxxx functions.

Thanks for you fast reply guys.

Actually I have a secure page that I need a certificate to enter (windows security confirm certificate).

When I try to enter in this page using AutoIt I lose IE control, even when I disable this certificate popup adding the page as trust.

   $oIE = _IECreate ()
   _IEAction($oIE, "focus")
   _IENavigate ($oIE, $myPage)
   _IELoadWait($oIE)
IELoadWait() don't work.

I tried my script in a regular page and it works fine. As a workaround, I started to use mouse click, "Ctrl + F" Tabs and Enters to navegate in the page.

Does AutoIt have a solution to work with pages that uses certificate?
