Hi guys

I'd like to know if it is possible to capture which button has been clicked when you set GUICtrlSetOnEvent (-1, "_Some_Function") on more then 1 button.

i'd like to capture that in the _Some_Function function like this : If GUIGetMsg () = $button1 Then ...

Anyone who knows if this is in any way possible. at the moment this doesn't work.

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
Opt ("GuiOnEventMode", 1)
GUICreate ("test", 400, 400)
GUISetOnEvent ($GUI_EVENT_CLOSE, "_Exit")
Global $test1 = GUICtrlCreateButton ("test 1", 10, 10, 140, 24)
GUICtrlSetOnEvent (-1, "_test_function")
Global $test2 = GUICtrlCreateButton ("test 2", 10, 40, 140, 24)
GUICtrlSetOnEvent (-1, "_test_function")
GUISetState ()

While 1
    Sleep (100)
WEnd

Func _Exit ()
    Exit
EndFunc

Func _test_function ()
    If GUIGetMsg () = $test1 Then MsgBox (0, "test", "Button 1")
EndFunc

colombeen,

You get the ControlID of the clicked control in the @GUI_CtrlId macro. This is explained in the GUICtrlSetOnEvent page in the Help file and demonstrated in the associated example - always a good idea to look in the Help file before posting. ;)
