ohgreat
There's much more that could be done here, but these routines are *many* times faster than the inbuilt AutoIt RegEnum routines. Feedback? ohgreat
Sweeeeet! Can already use with "HKLM\software" to check what's installed... Very handy! Thanks. You're welcome! Now, how can I point it to a remote machine in my domain....hmmmm?Man, a programmer's work is never done! Sheesh! I'll think on it .. but first I want to make sure the registry keys are being opened with the appropriate security level, so it won't barf when someone with non-admin rights tries to use them (eg. it should only open the keys with read access coz it's only reading the keys .. currently it may be opening the keys read/write). MHz
The UDFs looks interesting. I feel the need to give them a workout. Thanks for sharing these. I have not seen any standard UDFs for Registry functions in AutoIt distribution? But lets see how your post in the Idea forum works out 1st.
