geekyworld Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 I have discovered an issue I wish to report. I don't know if it is a bug since I'm new to Autoit. To declare braces as hotkeys "{{}" and "{}}" are used. The former works but "{}}" does not work. Instead "}" works. Please run this: HotKeySet( "{{}", "myfunc1" ) HotKeySet( "{}}", "myfunc2" ) while 1 sleep(100) wend func myfunc1() msgbox( 0, "Test", "You pressed {{}" ) endfunc func myfunc2() msgbox( 0, "Test", "You pressed {}}" ) endfunc myfunc2() does not fire. Instead if we replace "{}}" by "}", it fires. E.g. HotKeySet( "}", "myfunc2" ) while 1 sleep(100) wend func myfunc2() msgbox( 0, "Test", "You pressed }" ) endfunc This works. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.
Moderators Melba23 Posted December 22, 2014 Moderators Posted December 22, 2014 geekyworld. It looks like a bug. HotKeySet should use the same format as Send where it is necessary to enclose a "}" in a "{}" pair. I will raise a Trac ticket - thanks for reporting it.
