KennethWalle Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Hi, i would like to make my program auto refresh when i start it, any ideas how? -KW
TheSaint Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 You need to give more detail about that, especially what you mean by Refresh. Usually refresh is something you might do after a program has been running a while. Make sure brain is in gear before opening mouth! The reason for this is, my labels arent invisible, they are white boxes, but if i refresh my script, they will be invisible. Hope that make sence.
alienclone Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 if you are talking about a GUI you have created, maybe you could use... https://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/libfunctions/_WinAPI_RedrawWindow.htm If @error Then MsgBox(262192, "", @ComputerName & " slaps " & @UserName & " around a bit with a large trout!") EndIf "Yeah yeah yeah patience, how long will that take?" -Ed Gruberman REAL search results | SciTE4AutoIt3 Editor Full Version

TheSaint Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 A title for this topic, like - Refresh GUI after startup, would have been more illuminating. Some basic code to illustrate your issue, as well as a full description, helps a lot too, so that we know exactly where to suggest tweaks and not have to craft an entire chunk of code ourselves, which might be harder for you to understand or be a misinterpretation on our part. All part of helping us to help you. Make sure brain is in gear before opening mouth! Remember, what is not said, can be just as important as what is said. Spoiler What is the Secret Key? KennethWalle Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 TheSaint Yes i guess that would have been a better title. The issue was that my labels werent hidden on startup, after help from "M23" i figured out my problem. I dont need to refresh gui on startup anymore. -KW
