Is this a script that you wrote yourself. AutoIt does not require connecting to the internet so I would assume that your computer has some sort of infection on it. Make sure your anti-virus software is up-to-date and scan your computer. I would advise downloading some spyware removal tools and running them as well.

i (think) dont use such functions .

i use scriptomatic COM functions .

i made a script as alternate to XP system information .

just more informations about pc , and some buttons hot launchers

of device manager , disk management ...stuff to check on a new computer .

the file .au3 do not try to connect to internet.

i try the .exe version at home and at work .

both tries to connect to the internet .

after i run an up to date adaware se at work i dont get the popup .

i will try tonight at home , but probably this was the reason .

this is what i get :

Did you do a reverse DNS lookup on that remote address? Is it one you are familiar with? One in .ro? ;)

I'd be worried...

(PS. This problem is probably not related to AutoIT at all, but just an infestation on your computer.)
