While ChildX is active, ParentX should be inaccessible (i.e when clicked on parent it should not become active). How can I do this?

Use GUISetState to disable/re-enable the parent.

Thanks Melba, I was confused & puzzled b/c I tried many Styles and Ex-Styles to do this.
