MD5 Hash

Recommended Posts

MMKaresz

Hi!

I'm not so pro in AutoIt, can someone tell me, how to do a simple few-line script to calculate MD5 checksum of a string?
For example:

local $in="input text"
local $out=md5hash($in)

Func md5hash()
   ?????????????????
EndFunc

OR

using an external dll (can be faster) and dllcall function?

Thank You!

MMKaresz,

In future, please do not hijack 8 year old threads in the "Examples" section and just start a new one, as I have now done for you.

As to your question, look at _Crypt_HashData in the Help file - that does exactly what you want.
