tsmercy
Hello, I am new to AutoIt, having just found out about it last week. I have received a request to create a script that will automatically click on "OK" when a popup "Message from website" is detected. This is working, using WinWait and ControlClick, but I was wondering, is there any way to tie a popup to the web page that generated it? The script is clicking on OK for every web page that has that popup, not just the one application in question, and that is not exactly what the users want. They want OK clicked ONLY if the popup is for that particular app. Thank you.
Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted June 10, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 10, 2015 Hi, tsmercy, welcome to the forum. How about showing us a screenshot of the webpage and it's associated pop up? It is a little difficult to say without seeing what you're seeing. "Profanity is the last vestige of the feeble mind. tsmercy
Timeout Popup.doc I tried inserting a screenshot, I got the message that the upload failed. The script clicks on OK and prevents the page from timing out, but it does that for every web page that has this alert, not ust this application. tsmercy
It looks like I was unable to attach the screen print. I will keep trying.
