#include variable filenames

Recommended Posts

TLDR: I want to be able to dynamically #include <filename>

The file will ONLY be a bunch of $var1= ,$var2 =, it is essentially a setttings file

I am making a bot that will do something, then log into a different account, then do something, etc.

I want the user to be able to create a new "account settings.ini" file for each account they have, for example one might log in and send 1 message, the other might log in and not send a message, depending on the settings.  However I have alot of settings, not just 1 or 2.

So what I want to do is have the user create all these different settings files, and drop them all into the settings folder.  Then I will have the bot start, open 1 account, then go to the next, next, next.

How can I do this?

I have tried:

Execute ("#include <" & $filename ...etc, and this does notwork.

#include < $filename ...etc also does not work

Help would be greatly appreciated, thank you very much.

Welcome to the AutoIt forum.

Unfortunately you appear to have missed the Forum rules on your way in. Please read them now - particularly the bit about not discussing game automation - and then you will understand why you will get no help and this thread will now be locked.

See you soon with a legitimate question I hope.
