Determine how long it takes for full program to make a loop

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have a bot I made that runs constantly on a loop. Is there any way to make it time how long it takes for the bot to make a full loop, and then compare it to past 10 times and output an average into the console? If the whole average thing is too complicated, having output the amount of time it took to make a full loop will work fine.

Thanks, I look forward to your replies!

At a first blush, look at TimerDiff in the help file. Beyond that, if you could explain more about what you're trying to do, we can better assist. Help us help you ;)

√-1 2^3 ∑ π, and it was delicious!

I just have a little script to automate some processes on a clients website, so the bot keeps running in a While1 WEnd kind of loop. I was just wondering if I could time the amount of time it takes for the program to make a full loop and start again.

OK but what's wrong with the advice already given: TimerInit() ... TimerDiff() ?

And it would help to see your code. If you're using a While 1 (infinite loop) then the placement of the TimerInit()/TimerDiff() will be critical. Without posting your code (or at least a reproducer), we're kind of guessing in the dark.
