Hi all

I have a drive containing around 1 Lakh images.file names are saved by giving mobile numbers (for eg 9847012345.tif..etc).I need to search 300 file names (file names saved as text file) .Copy all the searched files into an output folder.

Find a similar code. but this code will not search in sub folders

Have a look at this UDF in the helpfile: _FileListToArrayRec()

Jos

PS: For all of those whom also have no clue what lakh is/was:

A lakh or lac (/ˈlæk/ or /ˈlɑːk/; abbreviated L) is a unit in the Indian numbering system equal to one hundred thousand (100,000; scientific notation: 105). In the Indian convention of digit grouping, it is written as 1,00,000.

vtamjad,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum.

But please pay attention to where you post - the "Examples" section where you started this thread is clearly marked: "This is NOT a general support forum!".  I have moved it for you, but would ask you to be more careful in future.

And please use Code tags to post the code - see here how to do it.
