change the computer name failed !

Hi guys! Recently i wanted to change my computer name with cmd!

I 've tried the following command : wmic computersystem where caption='the-actual-computer-name' rename NEWNAME;

but i got the following error message:

   'No instance<s> available.'

I need some help regarding this message.

That message usually means the computer name didnt match.  What was the issue and how did you fix it?

 

edit:  traded my guess for an inquiry since it was solved seconds prior to my post
