corgano Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) I know autoit has a WinGetCaretPos function, but it is rarely accurate and nearly never gives the right position. The ONLY program it actually works with that I can find is notepad. Specificly, I need to find the on-screen coords of the caret in microsoft word. Anyone have any ideas? computergroove Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 If you give an example (describe what you are trying to do and what actually happens) and upload a word document with the version of word you are using and some code you've tried you would get more help here. Get Scite to add a popup when you use a 3rd party UDF -> http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/scite/docs/SciTE4AutoIt3/user-calltip-manager.html
