Defining Variables As Global By Default

I need to define too many variables on my program and I don't want to make them global one by one. Is not there a simple method to define all variables as global by default when I didn't use an identifier?

For example, when I defined a variable like this, does possible the variable is defined as global instead of local?

$var = 1

I have researched about this topic but I may not have found because my English isn't enough. Thank you in advance.

Adele,

If you declare a variable in the main script and not inside a function then it is automatically Global in scope (even if you declare it as Local). But I would caution against doing this and recommend that you specifically declare the scope of your variables to prevent later confusion.

And if you have that many Global variables I wonder whether you should not look at recasting your script to reduce their number.

You can declare multiple variables on one line (separated by commas):

Global $g_Var1, $g_Var2 = "string", $g_Var3 = 3, $g_Var4 ; add more variables...
