Strange "Variable used without being declared" error

Why i'm getting "Variable used without being declared" error in this script?

Because you can't use a function with parameters in an AdLib function. Those parameters are ignored as if they don't exist, but will cause an error if you try to use Local inside the function.

forgotten to ask: why function make output twice and only on second crush?

WM_NOTYFY work:

Because the first time you use the function $sMode contains "Previous" and and then you blank it out. So the second time into the function, $sSelection isn't going to be used so it's undeclared.
