lesther Posted November 12, 2015 Share Posted November 12, 2015 Hi,I´m trying to use the _CommAPI_GetCommTimeouts command from CommAPI.au3, but I have no luck... Does any one have already used this command before, or have an example using it? and also the _CommAPI_SetCommTimeouts? Why use this command?Because I have to open a com port using the file_create and file_read, but when using it (file_read) sometimes I get hanged when I don´t receive a character on the com port.. so the script get hanged waiting for some data to move on...I believe that setting a timeout on the com port I can move on when no character is received...
